What materials do you use in your sunglasses?

For our metal frames, we use titanium. Titanium is a hypoallergenic and virtually weightless material which is used in aerospace applications. This metal possesses so many remarkable qualities; NASA currently is examining an etched piece at the International Space Station to grasp the effects of radiation and the extremities of the space environment.

It is a luxury material for frames because it doesn’t corrode or rust. It is strong yet flexible.

This is especially important for those who live in humid environments. The sea salt air does not affect the frame.

For plastic, we use mainly Italian Mazzucchelli or other acetates. Acetate is a higher quality material than traditional plastic because it’s biodegradable, environmentally friendly, lightweight, and hypoallergenic.

It’s made from wood pulp and cotton, which is much better for the environment.

What lenses do you use for your sunglasses?

All of our lenses are polarized which significantly gives the wearer crystal clear HD vision. It reduces so much reflective harsh glare and bright lights, the resulting view is superior than going without.

The lenses also have an anti-reflective back surface that additionally reduces blinding back reflection from the surface of the lens.

Our lenses are also made from Nylon which is a luxury material for lenses. It is lightweight, durable, recyclable, and offers impeccable optical visuals.

How long does it take to ship my order?

It will take 24 to 48 hours to ship out from our warehouse. The order will take 5 to 10 business days to arrive if the item is in stock. (For Canada or USA orders).

For international orders, your order may be delayed in your country due to Customs and Duty protocols.

If the item is out of stock, you will be notified and given an approximate ETA.

What method of payment is accepted?

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, AfterPay, Apple Pay.

Do you offer complimentary shipping?

There is a $15.00 flat fee shipping rate on all orders going to Canada, USA, and the UK only. This fee is not charged again should the buyer decide to ship the item back within 14 days.

All other countries must pay individual shipping costs which will be calculated at the checkout.

Do you offer international shipping?

We will ship to countries outside of Canada. The shipping costs will be added at the checkout. Be aware that your country may add on duty fees and taxes which the buyer would be wholly responsible for.

What is your policy on returns, refunds, and exchanges?

We will accept returns within 14 days of receipt. Special marked sale items are final and are non-refundable.

Please email our returns team if you would like to return an order.

Our items will have a plastic tag attached to the front. If it is broken, it will not be accepted as a return. It must also have all original packaging and must be undamaged and in its original condition.

The return must be examined and approved first by our quality control team before a refund is issued.

For Canada, USA, and UK clients, on approval, the item will be refunded minus the original $15.00 shipping fee. Any taxes, duties, or custom fees incurred by the returns will be the responsibility of the buyer and will be deducted. For exchanges, the first exchange is free. Subsequent exchanges will incur a $15.00 shipping fee every time after the second exchange.

Is there a warranty on my product?

We offer a one-time repair within 6 months of purchase due to manufacturing defects, not normal wear and tear. There is no warranty on the lenses.

For warranty issues, please email us at info@diegofrancia.ca with pictures or video showing us the issues, so we can assess the situation and take care of your concerns effectively.

How do I take care of my sunglasses?

Use a microfibre cloth only when cleaning the lenses. Rinse first to remove any hidden grit.

Do not use alcohol or any commercial cleaner on the lenses except basic liquid soap.

Do not put sunglasses over the head as it will stress and break the arms off.

Never put them facedown on any surface.

How can I track my order?

We will send you an email with a tracking order number.
You will be able to track your order online using this number.
